It is with very heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Murphy on June 14th, 2023 in his 91st year.
Loving husband to the late Else for 64 beautiful years. Proud father to Ron Murphy (Sandy), Karen Murphy Hodgson, and Debbie Murphy (Réjean). Treasured Grandfather to Christopher (Angela), Michael (Melissa), Katrina (Aaron), Lindsey, and Kimberlee (Colin) and Great Grandfather to Mason, Asher, Eleanor, Harrison, Autumn, and Willow. Cherished brother to Sharon Starkauskas (Joe). Predeceased by his parents Francis and Helen. Will be missed by all his friends and extended family.
Frank had worked with much pride at Air Canada for 42 years and 11 months and then spent 32 years in retirement where he devoted his time volunteering for many organizations including The Knights of Columbus. His devotion to family was first and foremost and was always top of mind. He will be sorely missed by all those lives he touched.
Sincere heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kennedy, his palliative nurse Lavinia at Bayshore, and the nurses and staff at Hospice Wellington for all their very much appreciated compassionate care.
Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family invites friends and relatives for a visitation on Monday, June 19th from 9:30am-11:00am. A Funeral Mass will be held that day at Holy Rosary Parish, 175 Emma St, Guelph beginning at 11:30am.
