Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side October 21, 2017 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Rose for 67 years, Loved father of Sherry Bender (Paul), Janice Phelan (Jim) and Joanne Cubbidge (Don). Jim is predeceased by his daughter Rosemary and sons John, Marty and Peter. He will be greatly missed by his ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, sisters Sadie Trenchard and June Byrne of Glace Bay NS, Ann Mitchell of Oshawa and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. We would like to welcome family and friends to a Celebration of Life on Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 57 Watson Pkwy. S., Guelph from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
