It is with great sadness that Verna’s family announces her passing after a brief illness.
Verna was predeceased by her loving husband Ronald. She leaves behind her four children Linda Ingram, Rhonda (Bill) Botter, Kevin (Lynn) Mountford and Wenda (Lonnie) Robinson. Much loved by her grandchildren: Todd Ingram, Tyler (Lindsay) Ingram, Steven (Kate) Teli, Brian (Amy) Teli, Jessica (Michael) Pearce, Jordan Mountford, and Pierce Robinson. Great grandma was loved by Hallie, Gabe, Griffin, Hannah, Zoe, and Lucas.
Mom’s life was a testament to her love of family, her faith, kindness, and generosity.
Our family would like to thank Dr. Chris Stemerdink for his care of our mother over the years and his guidance and support during her decline.
A public visitation will be held at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Friday, December 15 from 12:30-2:30 pm. A private family service and reception will take place at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Verna to the Foundation of St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre or Guelph Wish Fund for Children.
A tree will be planted in memory of F. Verna Mountford in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
