Of Guelph, passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Friday August 24, 2018, in her 86th year, to be with her husband and best friend Ivan (Sy) Monkhouse (2004).
Loving mother of Terry (Cindy) Monkhouse of Guelph and Tracey (Doug) Holdway of Courtice.
Cherished grandmother of Nathan, Jazmin, Matthew, Morgan and Michael.
Predeceased by her sisters Violet (Ken) Hesch and Edna (Tom) Smith both of Guelph.
The family would like to thank Riverside Glenn Retirement Home, Guelph General Hospital 4th Floor East and St. Joseph’s Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion during Shirley’s stay.
A private family service has taken place, per Shirley’s wishes.
