McIVOR, Mark Douglas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark McIvor on February 9, 2025, age 65, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener.

He was the loving and devoted father to Josh, who will miss him tremendously.

Brother to Tim (Kim) and John. Proud Uncle to Lucas, Paige (Aaron), Megan (James), Melissa (David), and Jenn. He will be missed as well by many extended family members. Forever fondly remembered by Cathy McIvor (Hurren).

Son of the late Douglas (2023) and Betty (Anderson) McIvor (1998). Step-father to the late Lindsay Hurren (2018).

Long term dedicated employee of Hammond Power Solutions. Mark enjoyed golfing, darts, and ice fishing and he was a lifetime fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Flyers.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 12:00-2:00PM. A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow.
