It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Inez McFarlane on October 14, 2023 at the age of 83.
Devoted mother to Ian McFarlane (Deborah McFarlane). Proud grandmother to Liam and Ronin McFarlane. Cherished sister to Calvin, Conrad, Dalton, Kathleen, Rose, Patrick, Daphney, Elsie. Predeceased by her husband, Ivan McFarlane; mother and father, Iris and Noel Smith; and her brothers Eric and Roy Smith. She will be missed by all her friends and extended family.
Inez was a registered nurse who had a gift for serving and taking care of others. A strong pioneering force; a devoted mother to her son and her Catholic faith.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, where the family invites friends and relatives to join for a visitation on Friday, October 20th, 2023 from 8:30am – 10:00am. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00. Cremation to follow.
