Jack Marentette, 87,

Jack loved music and he played the trombone as a teen and loved the piano since he was 5. He continued to play by ear long after he became ill. Reading fiction was one of his special past times. After he retired from teaching, he took up wood carving as a hobby, painting his work when the carving was done. He loved all the arts and wrote a novel in his retirement. There were many camping trips, nature walks and those will be missed. He loved his animals, dogs, horses and the goldfish in his pond,

A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held in the spring.
