MACEACHERN, Sarah Helen

MacEachern, Sarah Helen (nee Msrlian) died as she lived, peacefully, with dignity and grace, on December 23, 2022, at the age of 94 yrs. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald Alexander MacEachern. Sarah leaves behind her five adoring children: Belle (Lisa), Loretta, Bruce (Lisa), Donnie and Scott (Benny). She will miss her cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Adam, Ian, Gregory and Matthew and her two sisters, Rose Madonian and Shirley Manoogian, who survive her. Sarah’s brother George Msrlian predeceased her.

Sarah was a devoted and loving mother, a beautiful person, a lively soul and a friend to many. She was known for her kindness, easy laugh, intellect and generous spirit. A proud daughter of Armenian heritage, Sarah never forgot her roots, and carried on its many traditions, especially with family being the centre of it all.

She was an avid reader, golfer, badminton player and bridge enthusiast. Simple things brought her the most pleasure – history, classical music, opera, gardening, and nature. She loved to be social and spend time with lifelong friends. Her curious nature and desire to learn brought her much fulfillment in life.

A private family celebration of Sarah’s life will take place at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home in Guelph, Ontario. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to your preferred charity. Online condolences on the funeral home website are appreciated.
