It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Shirley Lois Lostracco on Friday, September 13, 2024, age 92 years. Shirley was the cherished mother of Julie Brown, husband Larry Wolstat and Paul Brown as well as the proud loving grandmother of Katy, Aaron, Jenna, Emily and Jessica and great grandmother of Emma, Sophie and Madyson. Shirley is predeceased by her first husband Fred Brown and second husband Richard Lostracco.
She was born and raised in Grand Valley the youngest of 8 girls including: Gladys, Verna, Doris, Elva, Liella, Ruth and Mary. She was an amazing gardener and fantastic cook hosting family birthdays, holidays, christenings and family get togethers. She was a member of the congregation at the Harcourt Memorial United Church. She always had a smile and kind words for everyone she met.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph (519-822-4731). Family invite friends and relatives to a visitation on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am with a Chapel Service to follow at 11:00am. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 762 Woolwich Street, Guelph. Following the interment, refreshments will be served at the family home in Guelph.
