Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in his 94th year.
Originally from San Martino di Lupari, province of Padova in Veneto, Italy. Arrived to Canada in 1954 and worked for Owens Corning (Fiberglas) for 39 years before retiring.
Beloved husband of Zoe (nee Andretta) Lago to whom he was married for 66 years. Loving father to Robert (Debbie), Michael (Mary Catherine), and Dennis (Elsa).
Cherished Nonno of eight grandchildren: Ryan, Nicholas; Mikayla Palladino (Joseph), RaeAnne, Jared, Kiara; Enza and Ottavia. Predeceased by his parents Gioacchino and Assunta (Luison), his brothers Giuseppe (Rina), Mario (Maria), Ernesto (Maria-Luisa) and his sister Cesira, all in Italy.
A visitation will be held at St. John's Parish, 45 Victoria Rd N, Guelph, on Friday November 1, 2024, from 9:30-10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to immediately follow at 10:30 AM. Entombment at Marymount Cemetery 5400 Highway 6, Ariss.
