Today, the family of Julianna Nicole Kraszewski said good-bye to their little sister who passed away suddenly on July 15, 2024.
Julie came into this world on May 31st, 1970, the last of “The Six Feet” that are permanently etched in the driveway on John St., Belleville, Ontario. Pre-deceased by her parents Sheila (1975) and Raymond (2006).
Julie always had a very colourful vibe around her. During the early Aberdeen & Pleasant Valley years in Hamilton, you could find her playing House League basketball and at the Roller Rink every Saturday night “Shooting the Duck” while perfecting her disco moves! She had recently purchased some roller skates and was practicing for a “come-back” rolling around in her kitchen!
The love of anything musical and theatrical was always a large part of Julie’s life, and she joyfully performed in several roles at Theatre Aquarius. Julie also had an uncanny ability to remember every word in a musical, from Jesus Christ Superstar, The Point and Spinal Tap, to name just a few. There are many videos of our Julie just walking by a gaggle of relatives at a party, to then stop and bust out a move to whatever song was playing! Dr Hook was also a fan favorite for Julie, she was a #1 travel fan for years, going to a record number of concerts.
While we wish to have been able to spend more time with Julie, we will remember how she could always make us laugh, was always ready to go thrifting, and how she made a point of teaching all the great nieces and nephews that “Snitches get stitches!” (didn’t matter how old they were!)
“We only die when people stop thinking about us”
Julie, we will forever remember you!
Love to you always Julie,
