Born in Corner Brook, NL, Lenore passed away peacefully in her sleep after her battle with cancer on Monday December 12th 2022 at 4:40am in Hospice Wellington, Guelph ON. Lenore was 51 years old, and missed dearly by her husband Wayne Jones, her daughter Kait Jones, her son Arthur Jones, and her dear grandson Elijah Jones. Beloved by her brother Gus Hunt and her sister Lori Jones. Predeceased by her mother Elsie Julia Pye (née Hunt) and her father Ralph Kenneth Pye.
Lenore touched the lives of many relatives, friends, and coworkers both here in Guelph and on the east coast and will be sadly missed by all those who love her. Lenore was a lover of good music, good food, and great times. She was the life of the party.
A memorial gathering will take place at Gilchrist Chapel, 1 Delhi St. Guelph, ON on Friday December 16, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Trillium Room. Flowers may be sent there, and the family asks that any donations be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society, or to Hospice Wellington, who provided Lenore and her family with great comfort and peace in her final days.
