It's with great sadness that we share news of Katherine's peaceful passing at Hospice Wellington on August 29. Pre-deceased by her husband John (Bob) Irwin, she will be deeply missed by her children Ken (Gaby) and Frances Determann, and will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tegan, Brett and Katrina.
Katherine was a loving, strong, stubborn, private and independent woman. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private ceremony of remembrance will be held by those closest to her.
In lieu of donations, memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington would be greatly appreciated by the family.
