Larry Hepburn, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on July 25, 2024, at the age of 69, with his family at his side. Born and raised in Guelph/Rockwood. Larry lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Kathy Hepburn; his son, Jesse Hepburn, and his partner, Jenn Dent; his daughter, Sarah Hepburn, and her partner, Alex Oriente;. His stepdaughters, Rachael Hare and Rebecca Hare. And his four treasured grandchildren, Zoey, Lola, Damien, and Julia.
Larry dedicated 43 years of his career to Blount Canada, retiring with happiness and pride seven years ago. In his retirement he was able to enjoy the things he loved most which included relaxing at his trailer in Wasaga Beach, cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs, and allowing his mischievous spirit to bring joy and laughter to those around him. He especially treasured his time at the beach with his granddaughters.
Larry was a huge Jeff Gordon fan and even though Jeff retired from Nascar you will still find his love for the car 24 all around including his iconic Jeff Gordon Golf cart.
A memorial service celebrating Larry's life will be held at 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday August 11th at the Older Adult Centre in Rockwood. (121 Rockmosa Dr. Rockwood, ON. Same building as the library) Friends and family are invited to gather to honor his memory and share stories of a life well-lived.
Larry Hepburn will be deeply missed. His legacy of love, laughter, and joy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
