Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital with his family by his bedside, on February 5, 2025 in his 88th year.
Predeceased by the love of his life Shirley Henshall (2020). Loved father of Cheryl (Brian) Robinson, Bill (Jan) Henshall, Rick (Lisa) Henshall, and Lisa (Jeff) White. Marv will be missed by his ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and his dog Finnigan. Dear brother of Barb (Ron) Nicol, predeceased by brother Bob and parents Ester and William Henshall. Survived by his in-laws Bill (Loretta) Fox, Trudy (Glen) Fosythe, Wes (Noreen) Fox, Linda Fox, and the late John and Redge Fox.
Marvin was a very proud member of UA Local 527 for 66 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and the important things to Marv was his family who he loved dearly, music and a sense of humour.
A visitation will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Monday, February 10 from 6:00-8:00pm and Tuesday, February 11, from 10:00-11:00am. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, February 11, starting at 11:00am. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Reception to follow the burial in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
