A beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, Omi, friend and cherished member of the Guelph community, passed away on May 15th, 2024, at the Guelph General Hospital at the age of 47. She was born on July 13th, 1976, to her loving parents Ursula Burkart (George) and Larry Hanna (Brenda). Rosalie grew up surrounded by family and friends who adored her and was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her community.
She was a devoted wife to her husband, James Holmes, for 26 years, nurturing mother to her four children, Logan (Cassandra), Kansas (Tristan), Paislee (Crimson), and Kaiden. Rose was an exceptional Omi to James and was excited to be welcoming another grandchild later this year. She was a loving sister to Courtney Hopkins, Paul Hanna (Kelly), Larry Hanna and Jennifer Idzik (Steve). Best friend and granddaughter to her Omi Ingrid Hanna (Alfred), and will be missed by her nieces, nephews, Aunts and Uncles.
Rosalie's love knew no bounds. She was the heart and soul of her family, always putting their needs above her own. Her warm smile could light up any room and she always had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her kind heart, compassion, and generous spirit touched the lives of so many.
Rosalie will be remembered for her kindness, her warmth, and her unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to inspire others for generations to come. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rosalie’s life on July 13, 2024, at Kings Sports Bar and Grill (468 Woodlawn Road East, Guelph, ON N1E 1B9) between the hours of 11am to 3pm.
