It is with deep sadness that we share Tom’s passing. He died peacefully at Guelph General Hospital surrounded by family on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the age of 54.

Tom cherished his wife Kim since meeting her in Glasgow in 1991. He moved to Canada to marry her and became the proud father of Duncan and Graham. He will be sorely missed by his parents Bob and Sheila, brother Alan, sister Edith, and loving in-laws.

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Tom called Guelph home for over 30 years. He worked at Camis in a position that combined his analytical skills with his love of parks. A singer from a young age, Tom was a lifelong lover of the arts. He happily spent countless hours, both on-stage and off, supporting all aspects of theatre through Royal City Musical Productions and various other local organizations.

A public service celebrating his life will be held in the coming weeks – arrangements to follow.

Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be made in his memory to the ALS Society of Canada, or a local arts organization of your choice.

A tree will be planted in memory of Tom W. H. Gould in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
