GOLEC, Christine Anne

On Sunday, January 8th 2023, after a valiant battle and with an abundance of love and light, Christine crossed over and continues her journey elsewhere. While our hearts are heavy, we believe she is in a better place and look forward to a time when we can be together again.

Christine was the beloved wife of Mark Carragher and loving mother of Keenan and Logan. She was the cherished daughter of Teresa (nee Bohunicky) and the late Walter Golec, and June and John Carragher. She was the much loved sister of Lawrence, Lisa Harper (John), Michael Carragher (Nicole) and Tara Coulombe (Marcus). She was also the proud aunt of Isabel (Pablo), Lucia, Victoria, Myles, Erin, Conor, and great aunt of Joseph and Elias. She will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.

Christine's family would like to thank Dr. Henry Solow for extending his care beyond the walls of Oak Valley Health, and all the health professionals at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus for their exemplary care, compassion and professionalism demonstrated these past few weeks.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life.
