It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the sudden passing of Amanda Anne Fletcher. On Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, Amanda's radiant presence was taken from us in Guelph, Ontario, in her 36th year. She leaves behind a void that can never be filled.
Amanda was a devoted and loving mother to her precious daughter, Ava Marco, who was truly the light of her life.
The heartbreak extends to Amanda's parents, Greg Fletcher (Deborah Read) and Cathy Bernardi, who cherished their daughter with every fiber of their being.
Amanda was one of four sisters; Jennifer, Deanna (Scott Murray), and Erika (Andrés Malacara). The sisterly love and memories that they shared will forever be etched in their hearts. Amanda is predeceased by her brother, Michael (1979).
Amanda's spirit extended beyond her immediate family, and she was a proud and loving aunt to Hannah MacEachern, who held a special place in her heart. Amanda was the precious niece of Karen and Rick From of Guelph, she will be greatly missed by them.
She had an infectious love for life, and her warm smile and caring nature touched the lives of many other aunts, uncles, and cousins, leaving lasting impressions on all who knew her.
In her professional life, Amanda took immense pride in her work. Her dedication and passion were evident in everything she did, leaving a positive impact on her colleagues and those she served at the Upper Grand District School Board.
A true nature enthusiast, Amanda found solace and tranquility at Guelph Lake, where she enjoyed running trails, hiking, and swimming. It was a place of refuge, where she could find inner peace and embrace the joys of life.
The void and the immense pain of Amanda’s absence will be felt forever. We take comfort in the cherished memories she leaves behind and the love and laughter she shared with us all.
Rest in eternal peace, Amanda. Your memory will forever live on in our hearts. Words cannot fully express the depth of our grief.
