FLAHERTY, Dennis Michael

It is with broken hearts and profound sadness; we are announcing the passing of Dennis Michael Flaherty.

Best friend, soulmate and beloved husband to Wilma (Van Delden) for 57 years. He will be forever missed by his children Christine and Joe Carbone, Karen and John Duffield and Ken and Christa Flaherty. His legacy will live on through them and he will remain forever in their hearts. Dennis was a loving Grandfather to his 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren who will forever miss and treasure his memory. Brother of Maureen (Jerry), Pat (Albert), Claire, Terry (Gwen), Joan and Kevin. Predeceased by parents Bill and Evelyn, brother Brian and sister Anne (Harry). Brother-in-law of Martha (predeceased Hans), Dorthea (Leslie) and Jack (Andrea). Dennis will be fondly remembered by his Uncle Grant and all of his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.
Dennis was a proud co-owner of Edinburgh Motors for 45 years; and a member and former Grand Knight of the Maryhill Knights of Columbus Council 6024.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph. A Visitation for Dennis will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 10:00-11:00am at St. Boniface Church, 1355 Maryhill Rd, Maryhill, ON. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00am. Reception will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph, immediately following the Funeral Service.
