FARRELL, Mary Gertrude

Mary Gertrude Farrell passed away peacefully on her 83rd birthday, August 17th, with her family by her side, at Hospice Wellington. Beloved wife of Richard. Loving mother of Paul (Anne), Jim (Eileen), Dave and Mary Lynn (David). Cherished grandmother of Calum, Colette, Liam, Connor, Shannon, Nicole, Emilia and Danielle. Dear great-grandmother of Aria. Pre-deceased by her parents Frank and Paulyne Costley (nee Hennessey). 
Mary graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Montreal, Quebec. She was a proud member of the nursing profession for more than forty years. She will be missed by her family and many friends. 
Mary’s family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, Ontario, on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A vigil for Mary will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph., on Wednesday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated. Donation cards are available at the funeral home.
