It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hilda Eidenmueller on December 25, 2024, at Hospice Wellington, surrounded by family.
Devoted wife to the late Jakob Eidenmueller. Loving mother to Sonja Radoja (Alex), Richard Eidenmueller (Colleen) and Linda. Proud grandmother of Stephan (Kyla), Mark (Vanessa), Reid (Elysie), Jenna (Tyler), Cameron (Caroline), Korey (Caitlin) and Sharlene. Cherished great-grandmother to Sydney, Austin, Ezra, Felix, Isaac, Maverick and Neveah. Dear sister to Krystal (Rudi) and the late Greta (the late Joshi). Aunt to Sabina, Thomas, Robert, Siegfried, Heidi and Annette. Sister-in-law to Siegfried (Linda), the late Adam (Hilda), the late Julius (the late Klara), and the late Roland. Will be missed by all friends and extended family.
Hilda was born in Austria and immigrated to Canada in 1955, where she began a new chapter in her life. In 1957, she married Jakob in Winnipeg, and together they built a loving home. Hilda was a dedicated nurse in Brampton, where she spent many years caring for others with compassion and devotion. A faithful member of Augsburg Lutheran Church in Brampton for over 60 years, Hilda's generous, selfless, and kindhearted nature touched all who knew her. Hilda's legacy of love, care, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Special thank you to Dr. Will Ruddock and all the staff and volunteers at Hospice Wellington and Guelph Lake Commons for all their compassionate care during her times there.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 11th, 2025, at 11:00AM. Reception to follow.
