With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Linda Patricia Duffy at Hospice Wellington on March 30, 2024 in her 79th year.
Loving wife to Richard for 24 years. Proud mother to John “Jack" (Karen), David (Paula), Trish (Ken), and Steven. Treasured grandmother to Jessica, Adam, Ryan, Kuran, Jacob, Sarah, Bryce, Isaac, Zach, the late Eric, Ryan, and Tara. Loving great grandmother to Grace, Logan, Jaxson, Macon, Ethin, Kayla, Eli, Warren, Rylee, Damien, and Dillynn. Cherished sister to James, Donna Jean, and Barbara and predeceased by her brothers Gordon and Timothy. Predeceased by her good friends Bea Travis, Linda Ford, and Alun Baker. She will be missed by all of her friends and extended family.
In her garden, Linda found sanctuary amidst the beauty of nature, where she lovingly tended to her plants with care and tenderness. Her creative spirit knew no bounds, as she poured her heart and soul into every craft project she undertook. She also enjoyed playing games on her computer.
Above all else, Linda's proudest accomplishment was her role as a mother, raising four children on her own. She exemplified strength, resilience, and unwavering love in the face of adversity. Her children were her greatest joy, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and supporting them as they grew into the remarkable individuals they are today.
Resting at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria St. N., Breslau, the family invites friends and relatives for visitation on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 10:30am – 11am with a Memorial Service beginning at 11am. All are welcome to join for a reception following the service. Cremation has taken place.
