Angelo Anthony Demarte passed away peacefully at Hospice on July 18, 2024 in his 89th year with his loving family by his side.
A kind and gentle man, he will be forever remembered by Donna (Paterson), his devoted wife of 64 years. He was the much-loved father of Angelo (Laurie) and Bill (Mary) as well as a grandfather of five and great grandfather of nine. He is survived by his sister, Ann (Brian) and was predeceased by brothers, John and Carm. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Angelo was a former employee of Savage Shoe and later became a custodian for the Waterloo school board working at Galt Collegiate and ending his career at Preston Public School.
The family would like to thank everyone involved in his excellent care from the beginning to the end. If desired, please do an act of kindness in memory of Angelo.
Resting at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria St. N. Breslau, where cremation has taken place. Honouring Angelo’s request there will be no funeral service.
