It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken "Hence" Cox on February 25, 2025, in his 74th year, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph.

Beloved husband of the late Brenda Cox. Loving father to Brooke Nicol (Richard) and Jarett (Toni). Doting Papa to Bethanny. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Olive Cox. Dear brother to Bill Cox, Gary Cox (Connie), Gerald Cox (Diane), Ted Cox (Joyce), Doug Cox (Kathryn), Pauline Cox, John Cox (Renee) and Brian Cox. Cherished friend of Elgin Wheeler (Marlene) and family. Hence will be deeply missed by all extended family and friends.

Raised in Township of Eramosa area, Ken was a man mostly full of life, laughter, and vigor. His love of motorcycles was an example of a passion that defined his adventurous spirit. He was both the life of the party or a listening ear to confide in. Ken will be remembered for his infectious humor, sociable nature, and active lifestyle. Ken had a strong work ethic and always prided himself on a job well done. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life - cutting the grass at Edgehill Drive so the backyard would look like a "park" or chopping & strategically piling wood or perfecting his famous BBQ steak skills, for family and friends. Ken's legacy will continue to live on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph, in Whispering Oaks care unit.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. A Visitation for Kenneth will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 10:30-12:00 PM, with a Memorial Service to immediately follow 12:00PM in the funeral home chapel. A livestream link will be available on Ken's memorial page for those unable to attend in person. Reception to follow.
