It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Tyler Cormier, who left us far too soon on August 28, 2024 at the age of 37.
Born on June 5, 1987, in Hamilton, Ontario, Christopher was a beloved father to his 3 boys, Owen Tyler Cellucci, Donntai and Tyler Cooper. Uncle to his nieces, Asta and Aaliyah. Friend to many as well as a devoted brother to his sister, Amanda. He was also beloved nephew to many aunts and uncles and grandson of Theresa and Henry Cormier.
Christopher was predeceased by his mother, Louise Cormier, whose memory he cherished deeply throughout his life, with many memories, and stories to tell anyone who would listen.
Christopher always talked about becoming the best father he could be, even though he struggled with many of his own battles in life, and unfortunately, he wasn’t able to sustain himself to his beliefs. Chris talked about his children and his family on the daily, and wished things could have been different every day, he tried extremely hard to keep the faith, and focus on one day at a time, unfortunately wasn’t able to succeed.
Everyone that knew Chris, knew that he had a big heart, he was caring, and would do anything for you, but also had a hard time dealing with his life that was always a constant struggle for him. Chris unfortunately felt alone and is now at peace with himself while leaving us beloved family members and friends to fix the broken pieces to the puzzle.
Christopher will always be remembered by those who’s hearts he touched, as well as those who were able to make and hold those memories with him. He will be remembered for the kind heart he had, his unwavering love for his family, and his infectious smile and laugh that could light up any room. His loss leaves a void that will be felt by all who knew and loved him deeply.
Rest in peace, Christopher. Your spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
