CAPALDI, Donna Marie (nee Finamore)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Capaldi on March 7, 2025, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph.

Loving wife to the late Tony Capaldi. Cherished mother to Antonette, Tony (Patti) and beloved stepdaughter Kim. Proud grandma of Aidan, Liam, Alex and Jake and treasured step-grandma to Jasmyn (Lee), Lauren (Jeff), Kristopher (Ashley) and Kaitlyn (Adam) and great grandma to 12 beautiful grandchildren, who all enriched her life. Dear sister of the late Frank, the late Nunzio, Joe, the late Joanne and Peter. Donna will be greatly missed by all friends and extended family.

A beautiful soul, Donna devoted her life to her family, teaching them kindness and the true essence of love. She led by example, showing what it meant to be a caring and selfless parent. Her late husband, Tony, always brought laughter into her life, a joy she carried with her every day. Donna's heart danced to the tunes of '50s music, and her presence lit up every room. She was a loving, joyful human being who put others before herself, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and warmth that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Friends will be received from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 19 at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 20 at 11:00 am.
