BOYLE, Richard

It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Richard Boyle on December 14, 2022, surrounded by his family at the Guelph General Hospital at the age of 89.

Loving husband to Josephine “Pina” (Zamin) for 63 wonderful years. Proud father of Peter and his wife Laura (Brombal). Cherished Nonno to Elena, Julia, and Matthew.

Predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Lily and his siblings Patricia, Elsie (the late Russell McGinnis), Daniel (the late Carmen), Lillie (the late Tony Valeriote), James (Ann) and brother-in-law Mario Zamin. Will be missed by brother-in-law Reno Zamin (Jean).

Richard will be remembered for his good humour and enjoyment of life. He cherished time spent with this family and friends, especially his grandchildren – his “pride and joy”. Richard’s faith, positive spirit and uncomplaining attitude while facing his health challenges, was an inspiration for all who knew him.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph, where the family will receive friends and relatives for a visitation on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St, Guelph, on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 10:30am followed by a reception back at the Hart Chapel Fellowship Lounge.
