After a courageous battle with ALS, it is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jacques on February 27, 2017. Jacques passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, at the age of 55.
Loving and devoted spouse of Elizabeth Sanchez. Proud and loving father of Tyler (Lindsay) of Guelph and Andrew (Katie) of Stratford. Proud grandfather to be of Tyler and Lindsay’s first son. Loving son of the late James (2015) and Beatrice Boudreau (nee Martin). Cherished brother to Michel (Miriam), Marc (Gisele), Andre, Gilles (Francine), Lise Gowing (John) and Jocelyne Booth (Jeremy). Jacques will be sadly missed by his 13 nieces and nephews, 9 great-nieces and nephews along with his large extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
If desired, donations in memory of Jacques to the Sunnybrook Foundation ALS Clinic, 2075 Bayview Ave., Toronto, ON M4N 3M5 would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Jacques H. Boudreau in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
