On October 15th, 2023 following a lengthy illness, Stewart passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington in his 90th year.

Loving husband of 65 years to Diane (nee Pernfuss). Loved father of Lisa (Robert) Brown and Todd (Melissa) Blair. Cherished grandfather/poppa to Kristin, Shannon, Chelsea, and Sarah, and great grandfather to Kaylee, Shaelynn, Carter, and Addison. Stewart was the loved brother of Dolores (John) Karsten. He is predeceased by his sisters, Donna Blakely and Esther (Clarence) Hansen, and his parents, Mable and Donald Blair. He will be fondly remembered by goddaughter Lori Preiss, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours.

Following a 30 year career in manufacturing, he took on early retirement to enjoy traveling and his lifelong passion of restoring antique cars and tractors.

Stewart was a long-standing member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and served on the Board and Property Committee.

The family will be forever grateful for the care and support received from Hospice Wellington, the broader medical community and family and friends.
