With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jurgen Bischof of Guelph, who passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 in his 87th year.

Jurgen was predeceased by his sisters Renate Bischof and Joan Fraser. He leaves behind his beloved sister Gwen Kirkendall and dear wife of 40 years Joanne Metzger and loved children Michelle Gagliardi, Lisa Pinkney (Paul) and Rob Metzger (Tracy), his many grandchildren Monica (Masseh), Antonio, Luca, Matthew (Kori), Brianna (Colby), Brooke, Bailey, Hanna and Sebastian and great- grandchildren Chiara, Leo, and Vienna.

Born in Berlin Germany 1937 and immigrating to Canada in 1964 with first wife Hannelore, he was known for his continued passion for learning and interests that filled his life with experiences that he shared with his family.
