It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Bentley, age 65, on January 26, 2025, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph.
Donald was the loving son of the late Anne and W. Donald Bentley and the cherished brother of Christopher Bentley (Ute) and Debbie Bentley-Lauzon (Paul).
Donald was the loving, fun Uncle to Rachel Bentley-Lauzon, Oliver Bentley-Lauzon, Sabrina Lynn Bentley, Christopher Michael Bentley, and Jordan Kyle Bentley. Donald was also a dear Great Uncle to "the lads" Hudson & Callum Byblyk.
The unexpected loss of Donald will be sorely felt by everyone at the 11th Field Artillery Regiment of Guelph and those within the Chabad of Guelph who came to know Donald well.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Guelph General Hospital Intensive Care Unit as well as those at the Grand River Hospital Intensive Care Unit in Kitchener.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
