Bellon, Joseph “Joey” John
November 12, 1965 - February 12,2024
Joey, in his 59th year, passed away on Feb 12, 2024. The beloved son of Deloris Bellon (Martinello) and the late Giuseppe Bellon. Brother to Denise Duitschaever (Eric) Cindy Gallagher (Bret) and Lisa Bellon (Dan Gibbs).
Zio to Zachary (Jenna), Natalie (Justin), Katherine, Emma, Jack and Sydney. Great Uncle to Zoey and Jackson. He is survived by his Zia Gina Martinello wife of the late Larry Martinello and Zia Assunta Passinato sister to Giuseppe Bellon.
He was loved by many aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
He will be remembered for his resilience, strength and big heart. May his life be a reminder of the importance of compassion and empathy in the face of addiction. Although his journey was difficult, he is now at peace. We will hold him in our hearts forever. Rest in peace Joey and know you are loved.
Private cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends and family at Holy Rosary Church 175 Emma St. on Friday, March 8 2024 from 9:45 am - 10:30 am. A Memorial Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend the Entombment of ashes in Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
