It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister April, at St. Josephs Health Centre on Sunday October 8, 2023 at the age of 64.
April is survived by her children, Jaime and April Ann Belcastro of Guelph. She is predeceased by our mother Anne Embro and will be missed by her father Trieste Embro. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Kim Embro, Kathy (Joe) Carpino, Angie Embro, Tammy (John) Beliski. She will be remembered by her nieces and nephews, Justin, Jesse (predeceased), Tyler (Hailey), Jeri Lynn, Kris, Renee, aunts, uncles and by her friends at St Josephs Health Centre.
April displayed remarkable resilience, facing numerous challenges, and unwavering strength with cancer and health issues. While we will forever remember her, we are at peace knowing she is no longer suffering and resting with our mom.
April enjoyed watching old classic movies, getting her hair braided by her nurses and having her nails painted blue.
We would like to thank all the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for their compassion and care of April.
Cremation has taken place at Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
