1933 - 2024
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Elizabeth Beamish on Sunday, December 29, 2024, in her 92nd year. Surrounded by family, Jean passed peacefully at The Elliott Community, where she had been a resident since 2022.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Len, with whom she shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Loving mother of Brian (Jacqui) of Canmore, Heather Frimeth of Guelph, Wayne (Sunny) and Shelley of Ottawa. Adored and treasured Nanie of Matthew, Jake (Maddie), Dan, Emma (Jonah), Carter, Andrew and Evan.
Survived by her cherished sister Fran and sister-in-laws Berniece and Jeannie. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Jean was predeceased by her brothers Pat, Wilf and Basil Young, her half-sister Connie Dagg, as well as her son-in-law Chuck McNamara.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate staff at The Elliott Community (Paisley Unit) for the exceptional care, love and respect they gave Jean.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where visitation will take place on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
Inurnment of ashes will take place at a later date at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Elliott Community would be greatly appreciated by the family.
