It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness to announce the unexpected passing of Jim on August 18, 2018 in Fergus, ON.
Born and raised in Toronto, Jim grew up in Georgetown and attended Milton District High School.
Jim was a self-employed printer/typesetter for 30 years at R & J Letterpress in Brampton, a business first started with his father. Throughout his successful career he took modest yet great pride in his work and paid exceptional attention to detail. His skill was an artform he was passionate about throughout his life. His quick and witty sense of humor kept everyone on their toes, and joyful laughter was sure to follow. Jim often spoke of great times and memories on his weekend fishing trips with the guys and in his younger years embraced his love of fishing. He was a skilled hobbiest woodworker who could build just about anything, a hobby he thrived in during his years in Erin. In recent years he re-discovered his passion for cooking and was always eager to share a meal or try a new recipe. Jim's greatest delight was his grandchildren and he always made sure to arrive with a bag of gummies in hand, a tradition he started and was sure to never disappoint.
Jim is the beloved father to Brian (Amy) and Amanda (Joel), adored big brother to Sandi (John), cherished "Papa Moustache" to his grandchildren Hayden and Ellery, and fondly remembered Uncle to Crystal (Ryan), Mike (Shannon) and Nicole. Predeceased by his parents, Roy Beadle and June Beadle nee Smith. Jim will be deeply missed by all of his family, extended family and friends.
Cremation has occurred and as per Jim's wishes a private family Celebration of Life will take place. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association or Groves Memorial Hospital. www.grahamgiddyfh.com or 519-843-3100.
