Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, with his wife June (nee Baines), of 57 years, by his side. Loving father to Andrew (Linda) Barnes, Angela (Brian) Reid, and Nick (Penny) Barnes. Loving Pops to Jason (Jasmin), Kyle (Lora) Reid, Jamie and Ashley Barnes. Loving Great Pops to Ella and Parker Reid. Predeceased by his mother and father Stanley and Olive (nee Oxley), and his sister Barbara Monkhouse (nee Barnes). Loving brother to Sheila Hodgson (nee Barnes). Peter will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre a Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Saturday, June 18th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held in the fellowship lounge at 2:00 p.m.
