It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Adley on August 10, 2024, age 57, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener.

Devoted husband to Bonnie of 35 years. Loving father of Erica, Adam, and his wife Nat. Survived by his brother John and wife Merri-Ellen. Predeceased by his parents Bob and Patricia Adley, and his younger brother Michael Adley. He will be missed by all friends and extended family.

Ken was known for his deep love and dedication to his family; he loved planning surprise trips, family outings, and anything else just to see the smiles on their faces. He took pride in creating lasting memories that would be cherished forever. He loved all war movies, especially ones on World War II history, and would watch countless documentaries and movies that would tell the same story, just in a different way. One movie that stood out from all the rest though, was "Hunt for Red October", which was a shared favourite with his wife, Bonnie.

Ken was the smartest, hardest working man you could know. He was a tried and true entrepreneur, creating successful businesses ranging from computer sales to cleaning companies, the latter of which has been running for over 20 years. He loved cars, and took great pride in his Durango SRT. He had a passion for golf like no other, and would never pass up a chance to play with his closest friends and family, or lounge on the couch for the weekend of the Masters.

Ken is loved by so many; his colourful, funny, and unbelievably loving personality will leave a forever lasting mark on everyone it touched. He will be missed immensely, but never, ever forgotten.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Guelph Renal Clinic for their care and compassion during his treatment. They also wish to thank all the staff at Guelph General Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital ICU.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 18, 2024, from 12:30-1:00pm, with a memorial service immediately following at 1:00pm in the funeral home.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences can be made online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com
