It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leslie James Adam of Guelph, Ontario who died peacefully on January 1, 2025 in his 80th year.
Born on August 8, 1945, he was predeceased by his parents James & Margaret Adam (nee Leslie) and his sister Esther Gregory. He is survived by his twin brother Harvey and his sister Doris Witter. Lovingly remembered by his children James (Melissa), Nicola (late Stewart), Meghan Wadleigh (Ben) and Christie Tsagris (Greg) and ten grandchildren, including Stephanie, Emma, Mackenzie, Lincoln and Theodore. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario he attended King George and Edward Johnson Public Schools, and John F. Ross CVI in his youth. He enjoyed trips out to British Columbia in his homemade camper truck in his younger years before starting his family. He started his apprenticeship and began his trade as a sheet metal worker in 1964. Throughout his career, he worked in Guelph and surrounding areas. He later worked for Hebel Sheet Metal for many years.
A visitation for family and friends will take place at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Sunday, January 5th, 2025 from 1:00-3:00pm, with remarks at 2:30pm.
