Guelph is in fifth place in the Western Conference and with two regular season games remaining appears to be headed for a first round match-up with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. Theoretically they could still meet Flint in the openining round of the playoffs, but a number of unlikely scenarious would have to unfold for that to happen.
Guelph hosts the Kitchener Rangers Friday night then wraps up the regular season at home Saturday night against Windsor.
