Two dozen organizations are about to benefit from Guelph's annual teddy bear toss.
The Storm say 5,120 stuffed toys were collected during last Saturday's game, surpassing the 3,775 toys hitting the ice last year.
Lev Katzin scored the teddy bear tally at 5:47 of the first period, a 4-3 shootout win over Kingston.
Since 2000, the annual event has seen the collection of more than 70,000 bears for charities around Guelph and area.
