We’re so excited to be back home and to have the chance to play in front of the Guelph community, for the first time ever, as the Guelph Union.
The Guelph Union are coming off two away victories this summer, a 1-0 win at Darby FC and a 2-0 win at Blue Devils FC. The players and staff will look to carry this into Saturday’s match.
Waterloo United are coming off a 2-1 win in their home opener against Blue Devils FC and will be looking to build off this momentum away to Guelph.
Guelph Union players to watch
Local Guelph product, Victoria Hinchliffe, will be looking to add to her goal in the away opener at Darby FC. The recently graduated Gryphon player was a standout in the OUA, winning an OUA gold and being selected as an OUA All-Star and All Canadian.
Joining her will also be veterans AC Lang, Alyssa Hodgson, and Danielle Sauve.
