LONDON – The Guelph Storm will meet the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the opening round of the OHL playoffs.
Guelph wrapped up its regular season with a 3-0 loss to the London Knights Sunday in London.
The loss means the Storm finishes sixth in the Western Conference and will meet the third place Greyhounds. Had they got at least one point Sunday they would have finished fifth and met Kitchener in the first round.
The London win gave them first in the Western Conference and first overall in the OHL standings.
The Guelph vs. Sault best-of-seven series starts Thursday in the Soo.

The two teams met four times in the regular season, with the Hounds winning three of them.
On Sunday, Guelph managed just 19 shots on London goaltender Michael Simpson – only five in the third period.
Denver Barkey and Easton Cowan scored in the second period for the Knights. Sam O'Reilly had the other goal into an empty net.
Damian Slavik faced 27 shots in the Storm net.
