LONDON – Cliff Pu had a pair of goals to lead the London Knights to a 4-1 win over the Guelph Storm Saturday night in London.
After Albert Michnac’s power play goal gave the Storm a lead at 9:36 of the first period Pu Tied the game with 49 seconds left on the clock in the first.
Liam Foudy’s first goal of the season 1:08 into the second proved to be the game winner.
Alex Formenton had London’s other goal.
Liam Herbst made 33 saves in the Guelph net, Jordan Kooy 32 for the Knights.
The loss leaves Guelph (7-11-2-1) in ninth place in the Western Conference standings, four points back of the Owen Sound Attack for the final playoff spot.
Guelph will host the Mississauga Steelheads on Friday then play in Kitchener on Sunday.
