The Bishop Macdonell Celtics senior boys captured the OFSAA AA boys' championship Wednesday in Timmins.
The second-seeded Celtics downed top-seed Ashbury 66-58 in the championship game.
The Celtics trailed by two at the half. Scoring details were not available.
Earlier Wednesday the Celtics beat Crescent 65-49 in the semifinals as Jake Chaput and Lukas Wood each scored 22 points.
Guelph went 5-0 at the tournament.
In round robin play Tuesday the Celtics beat St. Theresa 69-39 as Evan Hosker, Jack Olson and Wood all had 12 points. They also downed Kennedy College by a 68-51 score, led by Chaput's 26 points.
On Monday they opened the tourney with a 53-41 win over Frontenac Secondary School. Chris Poloniato led the way with 14 points.
