If you have some usable goods to get rid of, it’s the time of year to leave them at the curb.
It’s Goods Exchange Weekend, a semi-annual event where residents are encouraged to leave items at the curb to give away.
Those wishing to participate are asked to leave items and clearly label them as free any time after 5 p.m. Friday.
To prevent misunderstandings, you’re asked to keep bikes, toys and gardening tools away from the curb.
Residents can swing around the city and tour neighbourhoods to nab some of these items.
Any leftover items must be removed from the curb by 7 p.m. Monday.
Visit the city’s website for more information.
