Willow Road Public School is celebrating 50 years of inspiring kids to believe in themselves. This year, the Guelph elementary school is marking its 50th anniversary. As part of the year-long celebrations, earlier this year staff made t-shirts for everyone at the school with their motto 'believe' on the front and 50 on the back.

The word ‘believe’ means a lot to the school. It signifies the importance of telling kids to believe in themselves and believe in the things they can accomplish. On May 9, Willow Road PS is inviting students, staff, parents, alumni and members of the community to a drop-in event will give people the chance to reconnect with current and former staff and students.

The celebration will feature food trucks, a memory lane, student-led tours and decade zones.

Event details:

  • Date: Thursday May 9, 2019
  • Time: 5-8 p.m.
