One of Canada’s original craft brewers will be marking 39 years with a weekend-long celebration. Wellington Brewery will be hosting ‘Pin Party’ at the brewery from Sept. 6-8 with events happening in their brewery taproom and on their patio.
The weekend festivities will feature award-winning cask beer, which is a naturally carbonated and traditional way to appreciate beer. Entertainment for the weekend will include live music from Guelph-based soulful R&B artist D’eve Archer, folk-country songwriter Harry Lee Follon, DJ Sensi Boy spinning tunes, and Madison Phanthavong doing some acoustic covers.
Delicious food options will be available throughout the weekend including Pig Out Catering who will be at the brewery on Saturday from 2-6pm to host a BBQ pig roast serving up some delicious tacos. On Sunday the brewery will host a Brunch and Brews session with sweet and savoury waffles to go along with some relaxing live music.
There will also be activities including the always popular Welly Beer Olympics where you can compete head-to-head on some fun brewing inspired challenges including stein holding, boot toss, keg rolling, and more. Orbax and Pepper will be hosting a family and kid-friendly rocket building science workshop on Saturday afternoon.
