Guelph Farmers’ Market

2 Gordon St.; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Check out an abundance of fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, and products from local meat producers

Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail at 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. to noon
A free weekly timed 5k run, jog, and walk kicks off just east of the covered bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m.

CompassCon

Rockmosa Community Centre; 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Head to Rockwood this weekend for a popup market featuring exhibitors selling a range of products from board games, video games, comic books, toys, sports cards and other handmade and collectible items. Learn more here.

Old Quebec Street Shoppes; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attend workshops and learn about sustainable gardening, local food systems and environmental stewardship, hosted by Yorklands Green Hub.

Repair Cafe

The University Centre; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
The Guelph Tool Library’s next repair cafe is Saturday on the University of Guelph campus. Head to the University Centre to get your broken items fixed for free with the help of expert volunteers. 

Rare Plants and Rare Pants Market

Royal City Nursery, 6838 Wellington Rd. 124; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Head to Royal City Nursery for Cool Aunt Creatives’ second annual Rare Plants and Rare Pants market, all about plants and handmade treasures. Shop in the greenhouses, take a stroll through the walking track and enjoy food trucks.

Book Launch

Guelph poet Melinda Burns is celebrating the launch of her first book, titled Homecoming. The evening will include poetry readings from Burns and local authors Michael Kleiza and Greta DeLonghi, as well as live music by folk collab Lettercraft.
