Guelph & District Multicultural Festival

Riverside Park; 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

This 37th annual event celebrates the city’s diverse cultures with live performances, cultural displays, activities, midway rides and vendors, including food from around the world. Admission and parking are free, though donations are encouraged. For more information, click here.

Saturday, June 10

Guelph Farmers' Market

2 Gordon St.; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Check out an abundance of fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, and products from local meat producers

Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail, 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. - noon

The free weekly timed 5K run, jog or walk kicks off just east of the covered wooden bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m.

Garden Showcase

Self-driven tour; 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Hosted by Guelph Horticultural Society, this event sees visitors welcomed to seven private and one public garden, with local musicians and other artists performing at various sites. Tickets cost $10 per person; children age 12 and younger are free. Happens rain or shine. For more information, including how to get tickets and maps, click here.

Pop-up Orchestra

Art Gallery of Guelph (358 Gordon St.); 2 p.m.

Guelph Symphony Orchestra will perform a free, 45-minute concert. The event begins outside the gallery, followed by an art-inspired program inside, including a performance of Dinuk Wijeratne’s The Disappearance of Lisa Gherardini which tells the tale of the real-life theft of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa from the Louvre museum in 1911.
